Detailed schedule:

DAY 1: Discovery of 4 vineyards & lunch in a typical family inn.
All the vineyards of the Combe de Savoie are located at an altitude varying between 250 and 500 m on the steep slopes of the Bauges massif.

Cevins and Saint Pierre de Soucy have an impressive slope of 60 degrees. The work in the vineyards is difficult, everything must be done manually.

This Wine Route of the Combe de Savoie, as it is called, is an invitation to taste about twenty wines, including 2 A.O.C.

Discover the vineyards of Montmélian, Arbin, Cruet and Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte located only a few kilometers from your accommodation, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and the Massif des Bauges.

DAY 2 : Discovery of 2 vineyards in Apremont & 2 vineyards in Chignin - Lunch in a restaurant specializing in Savoyard products.
Located at the foot of the Massif des Bauges, the village of Chignin benefits from exceptional conditions: a southern to south-eastern exposure, protection from the northern winds by the mountains, a soil made of limestone, and steep slopes. All these elements contribute to the production of an emblematic Savoyard wine.

Not far from there, the vineyard of Apremont has also found a favorable environment for its development, thanks to an exceptional sunshine and a predominantly limestone and stony soil, notably due to the landslide of the Mont Granier which occurred more than 750 years ago.

Meet the wine growers of Chignin and Apremont, stop at the villages of Myans or Les Marches, and fall under the charm of these small Savoyard villages.

The nearby Saint André lake is also worth a visit!

DAY 3 : Discovery of 4 unknown vineyards located in the Savoyard Foreland
In the heart of an exceptional setting between the Rhone and the mountains, at the crossroads of the Alps and the geological massif of the Jura, crossed by the road to Santiago de Compostela, the vineyards of Jongieux reveal sumptuous landscapes made up of hills and valleys located at an altitude of 350 m.

Between continental and Mediterranean climates, this sloping vineyard benefits from abundant rainfall and a more or less clayey soil. The Jongieux vineyard dates back to the 16th century but its history remains unknown.

Stroll through the vineyards and enjoy a visit followed by a wine tasting in a famous domain.

Continue your day with a gastronomic meal in a Michelin starred restaurant. Enjoy a refined and creative cuisine in a charming inn perched atop the hillside of the famous Marestel cru. A gourmet and delicious trip!

Don't hesitate to stop at the Lac du Bourget on your way down.

From Chanaz, you have the possibility to join the departure of the Dent du Chat hike, located at 30 minutes drive from your accommodation, or to walk near the Hautecombe Abbey. Tackle the Grand Colombier and the mountains of the Chaîne de l'Épine, you will reach the starting points of these hikes in about 20 minutes by car.
