Description

You are an experienced hiker, the high mountains attract you and you dream of climbing a summit exceeding the legendary altitude of 4,000 meters. This training course is just what you are looking for!
Descriptif détaillé
The first day will be devoted to the discovery of the high mountains, the second will allow us to reach the Aosta Valley and climb to the Città di Mantova Lodge; finally, on the third day we will climb the Pyramide Vincent, which culminates at an altitude of 4,215 meters.
Day 1: Ice hiking in the direction of Pass d'Entrèves (3,527 meters), first steps in the high mountains, discovery of equipment specific to mountaineering (harness, crampons, ice axes, ropes) and prestigious peaks of the Mont Blanc mountain range .
Gradient: approximately 400 meters.
Day 2: Transfer to the Aosta Valley towards the Gressoney La Trinité resort, ski lifts to Punta Indren (3,280 meters) then climb to the Città Di Mantova Lodge at 3,498 meters. Learn the knots and basic techniques of mountaineering near the Lodge. Night in a lodge at the foot of the glaciers.
Gradient: 220 meters.
Day 3: Departure at the first light of dawn, to climb the Pyramide Vincent and its 4,215 meters above sea level, straddling Italy and Switzerland near prestigious peaks such as the Lyskamm at 4,527 meters, Pointe Dufour at 4,614 meters and many other summits that will make you dream!
Gradient: 715 meters
