Description

Since the summer of 2018, the chalet of Recoin in Chamrousse, former refuge of the French Alpine Club (CAF) and 1st guarded refuge of France since 1911, has been rehabilitated in the Environment and heritage Centre of Chamrousse with a reception and exhibition space.

Next to the Environment Centre, at the gateway to the great natural areas of Belledonne, you can discover an educational trail where pastoralism, fauna and flora, beekeeping and sustainable development will be presented to you with the specific characteristics of Chamrousse.

Opening

From 05/01 to 08/02 on Wednesday between 10 am and 12.30 pm and between 2 pm and 5 pm. On Friday and Sunday between 2 pm and 5 pm.

From 09/02 to 10/04 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 1 pm and 4 pm. On Wednesday between 10 am and 12 pm and between 1 pm and 4 pm.
We will be closed in case of an outdoor meeting.

From 21/06 to 06/09 on Monday and Wednesday between 10 am and 12.30 pm and between 1.30 pm and 4 pm. On Tuesday between 2 pm and 5.30 pm. On Thursday and Sunday between 10 am and 12.30 pm and between 1.30 pm and 5 pm.
Closed Friday and Saturday.
Visit to the Church of the Holy Spirit on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. - to be confirmed.

From 15/12 to 04/01 on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday between 2 pm and 5 pm. On Wednesday between 10 am and 12.30 pm and between 2 pm and 5 pm.
