We will leave on foot from the small village of Freydières, our shuttle can take you from Chamrousse to the departure free of charge (40min drive) and brings you back in the evening.
The shuttle can pick you up at the reception of the Villages du Bachat at 8:50 am, at the Centre Commercial 1750 at 9 am and at the tourist office of Chamrousse 1650 at 9:10 am.

In the morning we will first go through the forest and then reach the high meadows around the refuge of La Pra. The opportunity to appreciate how the landscape and associated wildlife change with altitude. We will walk along several isolated lakes and mountain streams where we will picnic together.
The afternoon will begin with the ascent of the Grand Colon which will offer us a panoramic view of our Belledonne mountains and the Chartreuse and the Vercors opposite. The slopes of the Grand Colon will surely be the opportunity to cross the large flock of ewes in summer.

This hike for good walkers will require between 5 and 7 hour of effort on mountain trails. The positive elevation is 1250m.
