Description

You will be accompanied by instructors who hold the BE cycling certificate. Assistance and follow car will be on the program.
Meeting at 8.15 am, for a departure at 8.30 am.
Details of the route :
Departure from La Giettaz -Col des Aravis - Col de la Croix Fry - Col du Marais Les Rippes - Ugine - Héry sur Ugine - Flumet - La Giettaz: 74km/1980m+.

* Difficult sections :
No major difficulties on this route.
Ascent of the Col de la Croix Fry, on the La Clusaz side, with no steep sections but a final stretch of more than 3.5 km at 7-8% (with a small, life-saving flat at the end of a long hairpin bend).
Then on to the Col du Marais, a 6.8-kilometre climb with a positive difference in altitude of 220 metres. The average gradient is 3.2%, so it's still a very easy pass.
The final climb will be the côte d'Héry to Ugine, with 500 metres of ascent to reach the summit at 1030 m.
