Visit the villages of Oingt in the Beaujolais and Pérouges classified among the 152 most beautiful villages in France, and taste several Beaujolais wines at the home of a passionate winemaker.
IN THE MORNING: BEAUJOLAIS OF THE DOREES STONES AND WINE TASTING
Discover the region Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées, considered to be the most beautiful wine region in France. Pass through several picturesque villages built with ochre stone and admire magnificent landscapes and castles. Visit Oingt, a picturesque medieval city with unforgettable streets names: Tyr-laine, Coupe-jarret, trayne-cul, etc.
Around 11:00 am, meet a passionate winemaker. Visit his domain and learn all the making secrets of the Beaujolais. Then, it’s time to excite your palate in search of aromas and fragrances during a tasting of several wines. Friendly atmosphere guaranteed!
At noon
Enjoy the delicious local cuisine in the typical setting of a Beaujolais bistro.
Menu from 14 euros during the week (menu of the day) and 21 € on weekends. Not included in the price of the discovery day.
THE AFTERNOON: VISIT OF THE MEDIEVAL VILLAGE PEROUGES
Cross ‘La Dombes’, a magical region where water, land and nature blend together to create wonderful landscapes.
Then, visit Pérouges, an intact model of medieval architecture, the setting for the first movie of the Three Musketeers! Follow the street Rue des Rondes with its uneven cobblestones and admire the old mansions dating from the 13th and 16th centuries.
Finally, enjoy a free time of 30 minutes: stroll around the craftsmen shops in search of a souvenir, taste the delicious local speciality pie called ‘Galette de Pérouges’ or taste the wines of Bugey at Caveau St Vincent (tasting not included).

All year round, daily between 1.30 pm and 6 pm except on January 1st and December 25th.
