Description

Stroll through nature and open your eyes wide. Overlooking the Bresse, on the outposts of the Revermont, the village of Treffort is an ideal starting point for discovering the local flora of dry grasslands, wastelands and woodlands. There's a belvedere offering a vast view of the distance or an orchid, here a native tree or one from faraway lands. Take the time to recognize plants and wild flowers, share their secrets and stories, and understand an environment that must be preserved. Reservations required.
Route (4/5 km). Elevation gain approx. 200 m. Easy. Conducted by the Friends of Treffort-Cuisiat and the Musée du Revermont.
