Description
Originally installed in 1683, the Notre-Dame organ has undergone several restoration and cleaning campaigns. Today, 500 original pipes have been preserved. Notre-Dame has a long history: how did the church's architecture make way for this massive instrument? How does such an organ work? It's all about keyboards, zones of pipes, from the largest to the smallest, pedalboards and pull buttons. The Notre-Dame organ has great musical qualities, exploring all sonorities. What repertoire can it tackle? When mechanics and technology meet music, the result is an instructive and melodious visit-demonstration. Reservations required.
