MY FIRST (mini) TREK in semi-itinerant style
This summer, with proper guidance, even beginners can discover the Grand Méan glacier — a sight worthy of major expeditions! On the first day, participants get to know each other before a warm-up day hike exploring the natural splendors of Haute Maurienne Vanoise, with a picnic at the summit.
The following day, set off on a 2-day gentle and scenic mini-trek, accessible to occasional hikers, including dinner and an overnight stay at the Evettes refuge, offering 360° views. At dawn, enjoy breakfast with sunrise over peaks rising above 3,000 meters, before heading out to meet the majestic Grand Méan — a giant whose sheer cliff plunges into a lake blending ice and blue waters at an altitude of 2,876 meters.
A perfect micro-adventure for nature lovers and aspiring mountain explorers. Return the next day to the “La Bessannaise” accommodation center, with access to the balneotherapy area for well-deserved relaxation.
