Day 1 - Paris / Lyon

In the morning, arrival in Lyon by TGV from Paris (only 2hrs) and check-in at the hotel.
Lunch in a typical Bouchon Lyonnais
Discovery of Lyon, a Unesco World Heritage site, (Fourvière hill, Gallo-Roman sites, Notre-Dame de Fourvière Basilica, Old Lyon (Vieux Lyon), the Renaissance quarter, its traboules (passageways), and the Presqu’île peninsula). Possibility to visit a silk workshop, l’Atelier de Soierie, near Les Terreaux Square.
Dinner in a famous chef’s brasserie or gourmet restaurant.
Overnight stay in Lyon.

Day 2 - Excursion to the vineyards

Morning in Lyon, the capital of gastronomy, with a visit of the indoor market, the Halles de Lyon, a real temple of food. For lunch, taste the local specialties.

In the afternoon, an excursion to the hilly Beaujolais vineyards for wine tasting and visit of a winery.

Return to Lyon for dinner and to enjoy the nightlife in Lyon.

Overnight stay in Lyon.

Day 3 - Lake Annecy

Transfer to the French Alps, to Lake Annecy (140 km/1 hr 30 min by motorway)

On the road, a stop for shopping at the luxury French outlets of The Village (30 minutes by motorway from Lyon).

Lunch at the French shopping outlets of The Village.

Continue to Lake Annecy, the purest lake in Europe!

Check-in at the hotel in Annecy.

Discovery of the medieval town of Annecy, the little Venice of the Alps.

Free time to stroll in the charming and narrow pedestrian streets.

Dinner in a restaurant in the Old Town or along the lake.

Overnight stay in Annecy.

Day 4 - Chamonix

Departure and transfer to Chamonix (95 km/1 hour)

Excursion by the Montenvers train to the Mer de Glace glacier (Sea of Ice) and a visit of the ice cave.

Lunch at the legendary Terminal Neige Refuge de Montenvers and return to Chamonix.

Excursion by cable car to the Aiguille du Midi. On the summit, visit the Museum of Alpinisme and experience the “Step into the Void” (skywalk). Return to Chamonix city centre with a free afternoon for shopping.

Check-in at the hotel in Chamonix.

Dinner in a typical Savoyard restaurant or at a Chinese restaurant in Chamonix.

At night, enjoy Chamonix’s nightlife: gamble at the casino, or have a cocktail in a night club or a pub in the city centre.

Day 5 - Chamonix / Italy or Switzerland

Enjoy the French Alpine life style in Chamonix, stroll around in the city centre or take an excursion by cable car to La Flégère to see the stunning view over the Mont Blanc range.

Lunch on the summit on a terrace.

Afternoon, departure for Switzerland or Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel.

End of the tour.
