For the fifteenth consecutive year, Horizons Sancy presents a programme of monumental artworks installed in the middle of nature. Twelve gems were selected from among several hundred artist’s proposals received from four continents. They were chosen for their singularity, their message, the experience they offer visitors, and the way in which they showcase the natural sites.
This summer, art lovers, hikers, and curious visitors will rub shoulders around the artworks, which will surely not leave them indifferent. Now playful, now magical, the artworks converse with and pay tribute to the exceptional landscapes of Sancy. Alerting us as to the urgent need to preserve our environment, they remind visitors of some essential considerations: to look, listen, and feel. Horizons is a vector of unusual emotions that, over the course of one summer, opens up the ephemeral dialogues between Art and Nature.
