Additional information

Right from the start, the history of Bonneville has been inseparable from that of the Arve. The river has shaped the town and the town has shaped the river. Even though Bonneville is not the geographic centre of the Arve, it is its nerve centre. This is what we show during the tour, with a walk along the banks of the Arve taking you from the Agora to the bridge upstream and back. Hear anecdotes and testimonies along the way, as you walk via the bridges and the river and pass by the famous Charles Félix column, the only one of its kind in the Pays de Savoie.
