Located 25km east of Bourg-en-Bresse in the beautiful Ain Valley, the Camping de l’Ile Chambod offers 110 encampments as well as camping car facilities and 8 mobile homes. The campsite’s reception is housed in a converted railway carriage, here you can hire canoes and mountain bikes and there is a small grocery shop. The campsite is ideal for family holidays thanks to its large adventure playground and swimming pool. The River Ain is only a short walk away, here you can swim or just enjoy the sunshine on the beach or discover Chambod Island. In the surrounding countryside there is a network of walking and cycling paths that allow you explore the area. Just a short drive away is the picturesque Gorges de l’Ain with views that will take your breath away. Also located nearby is the historical town of Bourg-en-Bresse, Lake Nantua and the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park.
